October 15, 2009 This summer USSA opened a new training facility in Park City, the Center of Excellence. Since I had some time off this October I decided to cruise to Park City to check the place out. This center takes training for a winter sport to the next level…. It is filled with a complete gym, cardio area, physical therapy room, infinity pool, hot and cold dipping pools, a sauna, a basketball court, skate ramps, trampolines and foam pits. While I watched some of the alpine and cross country skiers endure intense work outs, I was there to play and I ended up spending 3 days jumping on the trampolines and digging myself out of the foam pits! There really is nothing like hucking yourself as hard as you can knowing however you land all you will feel is nice soft foam cubes surrounding you, It is completely addicting! After 3 days I still wanted more but it was time to return home and get ready for the quickly falling snow!
