Energy Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

During the summer this is my GO-TO breakfast. It’s nutritious, delicious, and gets me ready for anything! Smoothies are a great way energize your day jam-packed with essential vitamins and minerals that help your body take on anything and everything. I personally love to eat everything out of bowls, so the smoothie bowl gives me the blended goodness of a smoothie which the extra crunch and deliciousness of whatever I put on top! Get creative, get fancy, get colorful, and have fun with this one… it is almost impossible to mess up!

Smoothie Ingredients:
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup fresh spinach
1 cup frozen mango or peaches
1/2 – 3/4 cup almond milk (more if needed to blend)
1 1/2 tsp flax seeds

Toppings:
1/2 cup Cinnamon Puffins (Or your favorite cereal)
1 TBS coconut flakes
1 TBS sunflower seeds
A sprinkle of goji berries
1 kiwi chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth. Line the bottom of your bowl with Puffins and fill smoothie on top. Top it all off with these toppings or your favorite mixture of fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts.
